My favourite cameos originated back in the late 1600’s near Pompeii. Tourist bought cameos made of Lava rock as a memento of the volcanic eruptions of Mount Vesuvius. They were proudly worn as symbols of a well travelled person. this cameo pendant in Onyx mimics the chic simplicity of the monotone Lava rock.
